This Privacy Policy, read in conjunction with the Terms of Use Terms of use, describes how Tandem Digital Partners (“Jami3aty”) owner of the website known as “Jami3aty” (the “Platform”) collects and processes your information. Please review this document carefully and thoroughly before submitting any personal information.

The following definitions and interpretation apply to the Privacy Policy:
User(s)/you/your/ (or a similar reference): refers to you as the visitor of the Platform.
Us/our/we: refers to the Platform domiciled in the United Arab Emirates and its affiliates, subsidiaries and related entities.
DESCRIPTION OF PLATFORM
This Platform aggregates various universities located in the United Arab Emirates, provides information on the courses and facilities offered at these universities, and allows Users to compare empaneled universities on various parameters. The information is for the benefit of students who aspire to pursue university education. Subject to the Terms of Use, students may also register on the Platform to apply to one or more universities of their choice. The Platform acts as an enabling Platform between the university and the student.

This Platform is not directed to and does not seek to, collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of eighteen (18). Nevertheless, if a minor accesses the Platform for any purpose whatsoever, we reserve the right to ask for additional permissions and consents from the parent of the User. For the purpose of this Platform, minor refers to any User under the age of eighteen (18) years. The aforementioned permissions and consents may change from time to time, at our discretion.

By visiting the Platform you provide unconditional consent to the Terms of Use. Please be aware that your current and future use of the Platform is subject to the Terms of Use. You agree to provide unconditional consent to the Terms of Use. We urge you to read this document thoroughly. You may use certain parts of the Platform as a student, university or visitor. Should you disagree to be bound by the Terms of Use, please do not use the Platform in any way. The Platform provides information to visitors. Like other similar technology platforms, in using or viewing this Platform, we may collect information from our visitors, including personally identifiable information (your full name, e-mail address, phone number) or non-personally identifiable information (e.g. aggregate statistics about what parts of our Platform are most popular). Your continued use of this Platform constitutes your acceptance to the terms of this Privacy Policy. If the terms and conditions of the Privacy Policy are not acceptable to you, please do not submit any personally identifiable information via this Platform, and immediately cease your engagement on the Platform.

Please be aware that this Privacy Policy applies only to this Platform. Within the Platform, you may see links or references to other websites (“Third Party Sites”) which is not covered by the terms of the Privacy Policy and are likely to have different information practices. We encourage you to read the privacy policy of each Third Party Site or technology platforms or applications you visit or use. We provide Third Party Sites, third party references and links for your convenience only and this should not be construed as an endorsement of Third Party Sites in any manner. You are solely responsible for any interactions you may have with any Third Party Sites.
COLLECTION OF INFORMATION
This Platform collects information from its visitors and Users in two ways: actively and passively. Active information collection can include both personally identifiable information (i.e. information that is unique to you) and non-personally identifiable information (e.g., if we were to ask for your first name and a list of the top three things you like about us). At the time of registration, we store the information provided by you on the registration form, including your full name, e-mail address, phone number, private password and alternate e-mail address. Passive information collection refers to data that you have not actively provided. We may use special technologies to passively collect non-personally identifiable information during your visit to the Platform and at registration. We do not link this passively collected information with personally identifiable information provided elsewhere on this Platform. We reserve the right to share anonymous aggregated information collected passively, with third parties, including our business partners and advertisers.

(iii) “Log files” track actions occurring on the Platform and collect data, including your internet service provider, your IP address, the browser type that you use, referring or exit pages, and date and time stamps.
WHAT DO WE DO WITH YOUR INFORMATION
The information we collect from you, will only be used to provide you with the third party services, available through the Platform and disclosed in accordance with this Privacy Policy or as specifically disclosed to you at the time you provide the information. When a student applies for admission to a university on our Platform, we send this information to the university’s webpage, which is a third party site and is not governed by the terms of this Privacy Policy. We reserve the right to use, store or disclose personal information provided via this Platform as necessary to respond to your requests; to comply with applicable laws, regulations, legal processes, and law enforcement inquiries, as required by litigation; to take precautions against liability, and to protect the security and integrity of the Platform and the safety of its Users. We will not sell, lease, transfer, share, or otherwise permit access to your personally identifiable information with any third parties other than as described in this Privacy Policy. We reserve the right to sell, lease, transfer, or otherwise share without restriction, aggregated, de-identified, and other non-personally identifiable information regarding Platform usage, sales, traffic patterns, demographics, and other statistics about our Platform or those from whom we collect information via the Platform. We do not intend to, and will not store any financial information relating to you.
BEHAVIOURAL ADVERTISING
We may use information we receive from or through you, to provide you with targeted advertisements when you visit the webpage or marketing communications via e-mail. OPTING OUT
The Platform does not alter its data collection and use practices when it encounters a “Do Not Track” signal from a browser. When you submit personally identifiable information via this Platform, whether such information is mandatory or optional, you consent to its disclosure and use in accordance with this Privacy Policy. You may opt out of receiving this information by contacting us at office@jami3aty.com. In response, we may require follow-up or contact information to verify your identity as our User. At our discretion, we may decline your access to certain information if, in our view, such access would jeopardise another person’s privacy; would violate any applicable federal, state, or foreign law, regulation, or directive; or would unreasonably burden this Platform.
CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
We reserve the right to change this Privacy Policy at any time at our sole discretion. In case of any revisions, the most recent version of the Privacy Policy will be posted here, along with its revision date, and all information collected following the posting of such changes will be subject to the new Privacy Policy. We will secure your consent if the new Privacy Policy provisions use or disclose your personally identifiable information in a materially different manner to what you have already given consent to. If such consent is not provided, we will use your personally identifiable information in accordance with the Privacy Policy in effect at the time we collected the information. Although we take reasonable steps to protect the personally identifiable information that you provide via this Platform, no system is 100% secure or error-free and neither is the Platform. We do not, and cannot, guarantee the security or accuracy of the information we gather.
USER’S RIGHT TO WITHDRAW CONSENT
In accordance with the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you reserve the right to withdraw consent given to the Platform to collect your personal information. This right of erasure is applicable to all User information, in the form of personally identifiable data or passively collected data; to information of empaneled universities; information on registration forms and university application forms, provided to and stored by the Platform. You may use this right when you have reasonable grounds to believe that information once collected for a specific purpose, such as registration, university applications or university empanelment, is no longer being used for its intended purpose. If you wish your details to be securely deleted, you may send us a notice for erasure via e-mail at office@jami3aty.com, stating your full name, email address used to register with us and detailed reason to withdraw consent. In accordance with the laws of UAE, we may not be able to delete your information permanently as we may be required to store your details and present it to relevant legal and regulatory authorities in the UAE, at any time.

If you are interested in receiving electronic updates, alerts, and other information from us regarding this Platform, you must provide us with an e-mail address. We may also ask for optional information, such as how did you find us, to help us better serve you and other users in the future.
